Casting spoons for trout is a very effective tactic in a number of water types. Whether you're fishing streams, creeks, rivers or lakes, the action of a spoon can drive trout wild.

In this video, Lucas talks about how casting spoons for trout can be such a good choice - specifically due to the castability, flash and the "lift" associated with a fluttering motion. In this specific case, he was using Al's Goldfish 1/4 oz in a Neon Blue, but many different spoons and colors are effective.

In clear water, chrome, blue, purple, black green, silver, brass, nickel and copper are all excellent choices.
