In Week 11 of the 14-week video series, OTW Assistant Editor Matt Haeffner speaks to Peter Jenkins. Peter is the owner of The Saltwater Edge in Newport, Rhode Island, and Chairman on the Board of Directors for the American Saltwater Guides Association.

While Peter's personal expertise is in striped bass on the fly and in the surf, he takes pride in operating a business that specializes in all things Northeast fishing.Peter and Matt talk about popular striper plugs for surfcasters and boaters during June, and some of the hottest flies for  targeting bigger bass.

Peter covers the transition from bass following bait to hugging structure, and even delves into using flutter spoons when bunker are present in Narragansett Bay. With more, and bigger stripers pushing north and east around Montauk and through Long Island Sound, Rhode Island anglers are about to catch a second wave of exciting topwater and live bait fishing in June.
