I promised I’d do a quick peek inside our brownstone in the West Village and here it is! 

We moved in 15 years ago and at that time we had 3 of our children in NYC and the youngest was just 4. 

When we bought it it hadn’t been touched since the late 1960s which was a vibe we liked but it was definitely in  need of some work. We took our time getting to know it and then we remodeled and updated everything whilst trying to keep the vibe and the good bones of the house intact. 

It’s been a fabulous home for our family and whilst it’s too big for us now we’d be sorry to leave both the house and the Village. 

We’ve always been super social and it’s been a great space for parties, dinners, charity and work events as well as more simple and impromptu evenings with friends.

It’s also the HQ for our businesses and it’s been a versatile and welcoming environment for the Mumford Sole teams and for our clients. 

We left to live in Hawaii for a couple of years but otherwise it’s the place we think of as Home Sweet Home …… at least for the moment!
