Formed in Ashton, Maryland, in 1982, No Trend stood apart from their hardcore contemporaries with a mission to deconstruct punk as much as mainstream culture. Their debut album Too Many Humans and follow-up EP Teen Love offered bleak, satirical, and musically abrasive critiques of society, and they remain among the most singular recordings in the DC punk/post-punk lineage.
