So Dennis from Analog Archives YT channel and I decided to do a series on 80’s/90's artists/bands we dig that had massively successful classic debut albums, but then saw rapidly declining sales on their follow up albums. Some didn’t continue on, those that did have been somewhat flying under the radar in a different music industry landscape than the one they left behind in the 80s, even the 90s. Tonight we will discuss Aldo Nova, Zebra, and Stone Fury. All had a pretty successful first album and then slowly sank into some level of diminished demand or commercial success from the music industries stand point (Zebra), or they became a studio producer/writer as in Aldo Novas case, or they simply broke up as in Stone Fury’s case. Here are the first 3 artists in our developing series of 80’s artists that should have been bigger … shouldn’t they have ?
