USAID helps communities around the world better prepare for weather-related disasters by strengthening early warning systems. In Nepal, SERVIR – a joint initiative of USAID and NASA – is training high school teachers on disaster preparedness in partnership with the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD).
