Beautiful Five (5) Strand Dutch Braid Tutorial - How to DIY

This 5 Strand Braid is one of my favorite braids. I’ve had a lot of requests for a tutorial on it - I hope this will help you learn it.

What's hard about this style is how you manage the strands. It’s a good idea to count the pieces as you go along and repeat “under and over” every time you start to braid from each side. The first many times may be a struggle, but hang in there - it's really worth the effort once you learn to master this technique.

If it's too hard for your arms, you can also create it as a half up style. Then, you just stop incorporating hair when you reach the top of your ears and braid down a few stitches.
