CANDOLIM, GOA
Candolim is the first beach that can be approached from the city of Panaji and is like a gateway to the other more famous beaches.
Candolim Beach lies around 15 kms ahead of Panjim towards North Goa, along the stretch of Fort Aguada. Forming a part of the trio of Calangute, Baga and Candolim party beaches in Goa, this beach is comparatively less crowded which attracts a lot of foreign tourists. Candolim Beach is known for its pulsating nightlife and thrilling water sports.

One highlight of Candolim is the parasailing and water skiing facility, besides other water sports.
The beach is also very popular among the tourists owing to the scrub dunes present on the shore. Another highlight of Candolim Beach is the ship River Princess which got stuck at the shore since 2000 and now has turned into a tourist attraction.
Candolim Beach is very close to all the action, is very conveniently located and still maintains a certain calm that can’t be found in the neighbouring beaches of Calangute and Baga. The first thing one notices about Candolim Beach is the fact that it has no defined beach centre. There are very few shacks and rather few restaurants close to the beach. Candolim Beach offers an unparalleled experience in terms of the sheer size of the beach, cleanliness and water sports.

Candolim Beach is very close to the bus stand at Bardez. One can also manage a cab from Panjim; its 15 km from the city centre.
