This English lesson is great if you work in a secretary position or at a customer service / call center.

I hate talking on the phone because I can’t see the other person’s face or body. All you can work with is the other person’s tone of voice and the words they use.

Sometimes I dread even simple routine phone calls... and I’ve worked in telephone sales for about 2 years of my life. So I understand your stress, if you have any. Hopefully this video will help you.

I will go over one simple English phone conversation in this video, then later we may go into deeper conversations. This phone conversation works well in a personal setting, like at home, or at work.

Is (name) in?
This is (name) calling for (company name).
May I speak to (name).
This is he. This is she.
