The day has finally come. After over 6 years and 7 busy seasons in audit in public accounting at a Big Four firm, I am leaving.

When is it the right time to leave public accounting? You're an amazing accountant who has some good experience under your belt as you were able to land a role at one of the biggest companies in the industry – Ernst & Young, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC or many more. Now after some time there, you’re wondering if it may be time for a change.

There are many reasons why one may choose to leave public accounting, and all of them are valid as there are things that working in the Big Four just can't deliver. So in this video here I'm going to cover why many choose to leave the world of public accounting and then why I chose to leave.
