Night Operator Pro Review

Apologies for the terrible angle. I didn’t plan on making videos any time soon so I don’t have any equipment to record. If there is enough interest I will invest in some basic equipment and try and produce some higher quality content. Check out my shorts if you want to see a rough view through the Night Operator.

Overall I give the Night Operator Pro a 6/10. It gives you an idea of what night vision is like but will leave you wanting the real NVG experience. If this is your first introduction to night vision I think you would be happy.

Picks up and receives IR well.

The unit isn’t incredibly heavy and feels fairly sturdy. The mount while looking janky tightens down and doesn’t move around so that’s a plus.

I wish the unit had the ability to run in IR mode and turn off the illuminator. The 4 green LEDs and green around the charging point should also be able to turn off/on or dimmed.
