On September 6, 2025, Arkansas State Police Trooper Christopher Belt attempted to stop a black motorcycle with no license plate traveling northbound on Interstate 49 near Johnson.

The rider looked back, noticed the patrol car, and immediately accelerated, weaving through vehicles at a high rate of speed and even using the shoulder near the median to pass traffic.

Dashcam footage shows the trooper navigating heavy traffic while reporting conditions to dispatch. Despite aggressive driving by the rider, the motorcycle’s maneuvers made it increasingly difficult to track as it headed toward multiple exits near Springdale.
