There Hittu's are nothing but Idli's Steamed In Jackfruit Leaves. These idlis in jackfruit leaves are considered pretty special in Konkani cuisine and are a must for breakfast or lunch during any of the special days, celebrations and festivals.These idlis have a nice smell and taste from jackfruit leaves. It is called as khotte kadubu in Kannada. It goes very well with ginger chutney or sweet coconut milk (soyi rose) or authentic konkani curry called - Mooga Mole Randhay.
