We met on Facebook through a mutual friend around 4.5 years ago; I am a Gujarati and Sumit is a Delhiite. In the first month of our relationship, we were living in different cities, but soon we realised that we could not do long-distance and decided to move in together.

We had our share of arguments during the first few months, but we worked on them together and overcame our differences. The one thing that made me realise Sumit was the one was his never-give-up attitude. Whatever happened, he wanted to work it out, no matter what.

We believe that the key to a successful relationship is celebrating the little things. In the long run, those are the things that matter. We still celebrate our monthly anniversary with something as simple as a roadside pani puri. We are awaiting the judgement on marriage rights so that we can get married soon and can legally be called husbands, something that we both deserve.
