This Long Exposure takes place at our lunch spot and swimming hole for the day: Kautz Creek at the Wonderland Trail Crossing. This creek is a wild, glacier torrent less than 5 miles old from its source: The Kautz Glacier.

I do not recommend swimming in glacial rivers. They are cold, fast, and deadly. The reasons we did it are:
1. We have lots of experience in very cold waters. We know when to not get in, and when our bodies need to get out
2. It was a really hot day, and by the end we were very hot and very sweaty. I’m need of cooling off
