Teak, one of the strongest woods on the planet, is known for its strength, durability, and resistance to rotting, warping, and severe weather conditions, making it a wise choice for outdoor garden and beach furniture that will last for many decades to come, even if left untreated.

Teak wood can endure even the worst wet, cold, or hot weather because it is naturally weather and water resistant. The most impressive timber for furniture production is most likely teak. This tropical hardwood can last more than 90 years and requires little to no care.

Teak from Indonesia is incredibly strong and robust. It can last for several decades without getting damaged with the right care. It ages gracefully and is resilient to everyday wear and strain.

With the exception of the infrequent scrub, teak needs very little maintenance. Accumulated grime can be removed using a gentle soapy water solution. After that, give the area a good washing with fresh water. A light scrub with a degreasing product is advised to get rid of grease stains.

Due to its availability, teak is more expensive than many other wood used to create outdoor furniture. Despite being a material that is highly sought after, teak is not as widely accessible as some of the other wood on the market. This is due to teak's inherently slow growth rate and difficulty in harvesting.

This magnificent wood is regarded as a "noble wood," and is especially beloved by designers of fine furniture.

Exotic Furniture Indonesia (9 factories) fulfill orders together, depending on what is required. Some of the factories have their roots even more than 100 years ago, great-grandfathers started small home workshops and over time from generation to generation grew into a factories. The production of furniture is unique, and some of designs are characteristic only for Bali, Java, Sulawesi and Kalimantan (Borneo) islands. All the furniture is handmade, of course, machines are used for cutting the wood and shaping, but everything else is handcraft.
