1984.. a year which Indian politics never forgot.. neither did India forget, nor did Punjab ever forget. The story of the blood shed by Sikhs in Delhi, Kanpur, Firozabad, Amritsar this year has been told many times in these 40 years.. but still those whose story remains are those of Sikh women. Advocate Sanam Sutirath Wazir has brought forward these stories for the first time, his book is The Kaurs of 1984. To write this book, Sanam went to the houses of the riot victims. Met him. Listened to his stories for many years.
