Gw2 | Slothasor | Heal Alacrity Druid | Soloheal

Druid is great at Sloth since it has access to a lot of hard ccs via Glyph of Equality, both pet F2s, Mace#3, Warhorn#5, CA#3, and entering CA thanks to the Druid adept trait Blood Moon. Almost all of these cc skills are enhanced by Sigil of Paralyzation and the Marksmanship master trait Moment of Clarity, making those two picks very valuable. Some of the affected cc skills can be further improved by taking Mesmer runes if you want to tryhard for cc - keep in mind that you sacrifice healing potency for that though.

As Heal Alac Druid, I'm responsible to grant Stability to my subgroup for the fear after each breakbar; I do that by using Glyph of Equality at the end of the breakbar to both cc and grant Stability. However, the 10% breakbar usually happens so quickly that Glyph of Equality isn't up again and I use Glyph of the Stars instead. In this run, I used Glyph of the Stars for the shacke at 30% though (see 1:19) so after pulling in the Slublings at the 20% breakbar, I immediately used Glyph of Equality in hopes to get it off cooldown quick enough for the final breakbar (see 1:33). I then made the mistake to cast Stone Spirit instead of delaying it for the Aegis, but I did cast Healing Spring as a backup condi cleanse (see 1:47). Since the last breakbar took pretty long though I was lucky and Glyph of Equality came off cooldown perfectly.

Since we only had one Mesmer, I brought an offhand Axe to pull in the Slublings that the Mesmer pulled together via Focus#4 outside of the stack (see 0:31, 1:33). I also pulled in single Slublings that either didn't get pulled or ran out again before getting cleaved (see 1:09, 1:48).

Disclaimer: Both Monk (Core) or Karakosa (SotO) relic are fine; keep in mind that you need to successfully combo your blast finishers for Karakosa though which requires a squad composition with lots of combo fields or adjustments in your gameplay, making Monk the all-rounder pick. If you don't own SotO for Mace, take an Axe instead - you trade some protection, regeneration, and vigor sources, cc, and healing for potentially unique conditions, range, and faster CA generation. If you don't want to run Mesmer runes, take Monk runes and Transference sigils instead of Concentration sigils. The 16 concentration infusions provide 5.3% boon duration and are not required if not running Mesmer runes.
