Esse exemplar pertence ao exército do Irã e foram vendidos pelos EUA antes da queda do Xá. Na época foram mais de 200 aparelhos como esse para aquele país, muitos dos quais entraram em combate durante a guerra Irã x Iraque, conseguindo vitórias sobre outros helicópteros de combate como Mil Mi - 24 Hind e até mesmo aviões de combate!

Nesse vídeo, mostra a ignição de um desses aparelhos, que como muitos outros equipamentos militares vindos dos EUA, tiveram sua manutenção totalmente revista para se manterem em voo.

This specimen belongs to the Iranian army and was sold by the US before the fall of the Shah. At that time there were more than 200 such devices to that country, many of which entered into combat during the Iran-Iraq war, winning victories over other combat helicopters like Mil Mi-24 Hind and even combat aircraft!

In this video, it shows the ignition of one of these devices, which like many other military equipment coming from the USA, had its maintenance totally revised to remain in flight.
