The camera is going to decide for you if it is a 2D or a 3D picture that we get. So robotics we get a 3D view of the tissues and organs because I can see the depth. When I do laparoscopic surgery there are certain tactile sensation that I have to learn to do the surgery, whereas the 3D or robotic surgery we do we observe the depth the tissues are and I can go behind the tissues and the instruments can rotate 360degrees, whereas in 2D Laparoscopic surgery the rotation cannot be more than 160 or 180 degrees. So we can operate for t he space e have. As I move only I can know the depth. So if there is no tactile sensation either in 3D or 2D, but 3D visualization we can have a better benefit in robotic surgery. but we know that robotic surgery is very expensive. But with an experienced surgery the 2D surgery is also sufficient to do many laparoscopic surgeries.
