A beautiful ascent of four parts. Starting off relatively gently as you ascend to Lake Montriond the road then ramps up as it takes you to the Ardent Ski Station. The section between Ardent and Les Linderets ('The Goat Village') is tough however you are rewarded with a steady finish and amazing vistas.
