We're heading on a winter camping road trip from Vancouver through Penticton and Keremeos along Highway 3 to the southern Okanagan Valley areas of Osoyoos and Penticton, British Columbia in our Honda Pilot Microcamper.

Winter camping isn't easy, but there are some advantages to putting up with the cold. The camp sites are empty (if they are open!), the hiking trails have fewer people, and we can get a table at our favourite restaurant without having to wait like we do during the peak tourist season. We also love staying cozy playing games and sleeping under our warm duvet on colder nights.
