This is from the horrible Season 1 DVD Release of Voyager and is more or less the worst-case-scenario for a restauration. Consider this clip the minimum quality one might get during a full remastering of the series with our method. We will showcase scenes from later Seasons with much better quality soon.

It is neither endorsed or supported by Paramount Home Entertainment and is based off the original DVD-Release of Voyager to showcase, what fans of the series can do in terms of restauration.

Because it is based off the original DVD Release of Voyager that itself was crippeld by bad compression and mastering errors. Just imagine, what we could do, if we had proper access to the uncompressed standard definition video files on what the DVDs are based on.
