HURTWORLD - ITEMV2 SERVER SETUP (WINDOWS)

Hurtworld, how to setup a itemv2 server for Windows.

Download SteamCMD: http://media.steampowered.com/install...

SteamCMD command line:
login anonymous
force_install_dir C:\hurtworld
app_update 405100

Host.bat:
hurtworld.exe -batchmode -nographics -exec "addadmin YOURSTEAMID64;servername Test Server;host 12871 nullius" -logfile "gamelog.txt"


Port Forwarding:
This means you're opening the ports on your modem or router and allows everyone to join your Hurtworld server.
After you've done this your server will also show up under: 'Community Servers' ingame.
Follow the following steps on how to do this:
1. Open command prompt in Windows.
2. Type: ipconfig
3. In the command prompt your Default Gateway will show up. For example: 192.168.178.1 , Open Google Chrome or Internet Explorer and type the Default Gateway IP in your address bar.
4. Login to your modem / router.
5. In your modem / router settings look for 'port forwarding' and add the following ports: 12871 and 12881 both TCP and UDP.
6. Start your Hurtworld server and you're done !


Oxide:
Oxide is a mod that allows your server to run plugins.
If you want to run certain plugins on your server follow the following steps:
1. Download Oxide here: https://github.com/theumod/uMod.Hurtw...
2. Replace the 'Hurtworld_Data' folder with the one of your server.
3. Start your server and Oxide will generate a folder called: 'Oxide'
In your Oxide folder there's a folder called 'plugins' there you can install all plugins you want.
4. Download the plugins from here: https://umod.org/plugins
For Hurtworld you can use the 'Universal' and 'Hurtworld' plugins.
5. Download a plugin and copy it in your plugins folder.
6. Your server will automatically load the plugins that you put in the plugins folder and now you're good to go !
