Stunning! Big RC Plane Pitts Bulldog 2, Extremely Detailed Scale Model Flying At Flight Show

Wow. So close to the original! Model builder Mark Maibom has built a perfect replica of Jim Leroy's famous aerobatic machine. Jim LeRoy flew the original Pitts Bulldog in countless flying events. With his spectacular flying style, he has appeared in many air shows in the USA and has achieved real legendary status there.

Mark Maibom's Pitts Bulldog 2 model aircraft seen here follows on from this legend. The model is recreated in great detail and is a real eye-catcher. The many years of work on the model were more than worth it (here is the construction report https://www.rc-network.de/threads/pit... )

In 2023, Mark Maibom won the title “German Champion” in the DM Semiscale sports class for his Pitts Bulldog 2. In addition to the scale appearance, the prototypical flight behavior of the RC Pitts Bulldog 2 was also crucial.
