Operation Christmas Child OCC–My Experience Working at the Processing Center!

Here are my thoughts after working at the processing center in Boone, North Carolina. Sign up to work at the processing center, if you can. The experience is amazing!!

After seeing what other’s pack in their shoeboxes, I want to help change the culture of shoebox packers. Help me get the word out in order to improve the quality of our boxes!

Start by considering each shoebox as a gift to Jesus, because that’s what it is. Also, remember that most children receive only one shoebox in a lifetime! So a full shoebox is a great blessing!!

Then realize that many children can’t go to school without their own school supplies! Please send a full set in each shoebox you send and encourage others to do the same!

Hopefully, these thoughts will motivate all of us to include the big 4 in all of our boxes to make a bigger impact!

1.School Supplies, including notebook
2. Hygiene Items
3. Soft toy
4. Backpack or tote

Also, why not start now buying fillers to send next year to the processing Center! 🥰 OCC will never receive 100% perfect shoeboxes. Fillers help improve the ones that need help. 😊
