Guangren Temple is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery in the northwest corner of the ancient city wall of Chang'an, built in 1703 when Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty was inspecting northwest China. The emperor ordered the construction of the temple with the aim of stabilizing the unity of the Hans, Tibetans and other ethnic groups in the northwest.
