Annamayya Laddu Recipe is a simple yet yummy delicacy. This is all-time favourite mouth-watering Indian dessert that will be enjoyed by kids as well as adults. This scrumptious Boondi Laddu is a round-shaped sweet made with chana flour, ghee and flooded with sugar syrup.

Ingredients For Annamayya Laddu Recipe:

Milk - 1 & 1/2 cup
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Gram Flour - 1 cup
Candy Sugar - 1/4 cup
Kismis - 1/4 cup
Elachi Powder - 2 tbsp
Cashew nuts - 1/4 cup
Edible Camphor - 1

Procedure For Annamayya Laddu Recipe:

1. Add sugar to the pan, add a 1/4th glass of water heat and stir well until sugar syrup, till you get a light consistency.
2. Cook over low flame for 3 to 4 minutes then sugar syrup is done, turn off the flame and keep it aside.
3. Take a mixing bowl to add Gram flour, milk and mix well by adding milk. Make a smooth flowing batter. Check the consistency add milk.
4. The batter should be flowing as shown. Heat oil for deep fry, with a spoon, add some batter on the perforated ladle. Fill the strainer with batter up to the half.
5. Drain Boondis around the pan into the hot oil and cook in low flame. Fry Boondi till golden colour. Drain & add to the sugar syrup, repeat till the batter is completed.
6. Fry cashew nuts till light golden colour, fry Kissmis. Cashewnuts, Kissmis, candy sugar, Elachi powder transfer into Boondi bowl and mix well.
7. Add edible camphor, 1 tsp of ghee mix well, so that Boondi gets smooth. Crush with your hands to make it soft.
8. After Boondi turns the soft to shape into small laddu.

Cooking Notes For Annamayya Laddu Recipe:

Consistency should always be in flowing otherwise you don’t get perfect droplets to make laddu.
Edible camphor is optional.
