Project Cambria (Meta Quest Pro) News, Facebook Cancelled? Quest 2 V42 Update!


In this video, we’ll be covering new info regarding Project Cambria, the upcoming Meta Account feature, and of course, finish it off with new game releases of the week. If you learned anything new all I ask is that you smash the like button below and subscribe!


The first story we have is regarding the upcoming Project Cambria, Meta’s high-end VR headset. A Data miner from Tape Drive found that the long-awaited Project Cambria will be called Meta Quest Pro. To add to that, he also found references to Eye Tracking Support which confirms the long-rumored feature to be added to Project Cambria or Meta Quest Pro.


Meta is finally allowing all of us to move away from a valid Facebook account to be linked to your Quest account starting in August of 2022. Meta will let us create a Meta Account that they say will “ Give people more flexibility and control in VR.”


Next, I’ll cover a summary of changes for the new upcoming V42 for your Quest 2. In Version 42, Oculus Move unlocks Move Achievements to motivate people to consistently work out. There will be new parental supervision features to enable or disable social features such as creating or joining parties, the content you consume on Meta Horizon Home, and using chat features on Oculus Chat or Messenger for your kids.


I quickly want to let you know that Post Malone will be kicking off the Horizon block party starting on July 15.


This week's game releases. 
We have PatchWorld. This is a super cool game as you can use tools and instruments to make your own music in VR.


Next, we have Ruinsmagus. You as a novice wizard will embark on a 25 unique story-driven quest to protect the ruins from intruders and solve deadly puzzles hidden within.


The last one is Thief Simulator VR. You shouldn’t steal things in real life but you definitely can in VR!
