Ozma is the ultimate end game (and optional) boss fight in Final Fantasy 9. We recently attempted the fight during a Twitch live stream for the first time on this playthrough and the result was... interesting!


Make sure, before battling Ozma, you have completed the Friendly Creatures sidequest as this nerfs him to managable levels. Even so, this fight has a lot of luck based mechanics and Ozma does not operate with a standard ATB system (he counters every attack you make with his various abilities).
