Prey (2017) - Neuromod Fabrication Plan - "Secret" location

Greetings, everyone.

A quick video guide here on how to get some Neuromod Fabrication Plans before actually finding them on the main quest line.

The thing is many plans and interesting stuff in this game are completely optional to find, but when it comes to Neuromods, you’ll want to get your hands on some fabrication blueprints as soon as possible, because Neuromods are your skill points in Prey, and this game gives us these mods in a very interesting way: by progressing on the story we’ll get some, but if we explore the Talos I station we can find a lot more and, with this fabrication plans, we can now make our own Neuromods if we have enough materials.

So, we can find some Neuromod crafting plans if we go to the Neuromod Division, Fabrication Area, and we have leveled up the Leverage skill to rank 2, so we can move some heavy objects that block our path. Our objective is to look for Frederick Steele, we can locate its corpse by using a security station, or you can just go to where his body is if you follow this video, anyway. He will have the access key to Halden Graves’ office, and inside we’ll find the Neuromod Fabrication Plan on the table in the second room. It wasn’t very well hidden, but since going here is completely optional…you can miss it (though you get these plans later by doing the main quest). This is why I also recommend tracking all the Talos I workers by using the security computers…you usually get either a spare Neuromod or find something else along the way, and exploring is always fun : )

By the way, if you still cannot access the Fabrication area in the Neuromod Division, probably you’re trying to do this a bit too early, but soon after the first few main quests you’ll be able to get there, so be patient, it’s worth it.

And that’s it, then you can go to a Fabrication Station and craft your own Neuromods, but be careful, they use lots of materials compared to normal stuff, but if you’ve been farming stuff so far…it’s no problem and you’ll be able to buff yourself up a lot with some extra nice hand crafted Neuromods.
