इस सादगीको गेहरायियोमे जाननेकी चाह
न जाने कहांसे चली आती है
गेहरायियोमे तो ये सादगी उफ़ कैसे बयां करू -
और कितनी खूबसूरत लगती है। .

जब कभी थकान के घने बादल
दिन को मायूस बनाने लगते है
तब आपकी यही सादगी
उन घने बादलो को दूर छोड़
चेहरे पे न जाने क्यूँ मुस्कराहट लाती है

जब कभी कोई अंजान राह सताने लगती है
तब आपकी यही सादगी
अल्फ़ाज़ बनकर दिल को छू जाती है
और शायद वो अल्फ़ाज़ काही जादू
की वो अंजान राह भी फिर बहुत करीबी लगती है

कैसे पाया होगा आपने इतनी खूबसरत जीज को
कहासे लाते हो इतनी बेहतरीनसी सादगी गो
कठीण सवाल का खूबसूरत जवाब
अपने आप में ही ख़ुशी बस खुद से ही सच्चा प्यार ...

इत्तफाक की ही तो ये बात है ना
नजरों में आप आते हो
और सादगी अपने आप मिल जाती है
