The RFB Fantrainer is a training aircraft designed in the late 1970s by the small German manufacturer Rhein-Flugzeugbau based in the district of Düsseldorf. This two-seater aircraft is characterized by its atypical propulsion mode, consisting of a square fan, placed behind the center of gravity of the aircraft, and driven by a turboshaft engine.
Only 32 have been built, Only 3 are left and are still flying.
This aircraft was used for flight training by the Luftwaffe and the Royal Thai Air Force.
Video filmed with a Caterpillar S61 phone, rendered "raw" without editing, sorry for the wind.
