Gameplay
Rimworld at its core is a survival game but instead of being a single surviving person you work on making a colony on a new planet. Working together through the hardships of surviving in a new world.The Updates for Rimworld Alpha 12 is the following summarized:

Rimworld Animal Taming in which a handler will tame the wild animals with a carrying level requirements. These animals can be taught skill such as obedience, release, Rescuing and Hauling. They can also be sold or Eaten for food.

Rimworld New Animals Boomalope, Thrumbo, Chinchilla, Capybara, Cow, Pig, Chicken, Yorkshire terrier, Labrador retriever,Husky, Elephant

Rimworld Animals have new mechanics such as birth, becoming pregnant, death from age, sleeping, can be harvested for items such as milk and wool, and can become sick and need treatment.

Rimworld with new rooms such as bedrooms, dining halls, hospitals, prisons rooms and barracks, and etc. These rooms can all give stat bonuses to colonists as well as affect other ingame mechanics.

Rimworld Artifacts and facilities that are new weapons and items that boost stats of workbenches, beds, or research stations.

Older colonists can also have heart attacks now as well as many other smaller things.
