!! Please wear correct PPE when working with UV resin to prevent contact with the skin and keep your hands away from the UV lamp. When working with epoxy resin keep your skin protected with nitrile gloves and wear a respirator to protect your lungs.
.
In my last video I made several pieces with UV resin and nail art interference powders. Two of those were inspired by labradorite and I loved them so I wanted to try it again but using a darker background. This time I used UV resin for the first step then backed them with two-part epoxy resin coloured with black pigment.

Materials used (everything was from Amazon unless otherwise stated):
Cabochon silicone mould
JDiction UV resin (hard type)
Small UV nail lamp
Interference nail powders
Let's Resin chameleon powders in blue and teal
Sponge applicators
JDiction 4 hour cure two-part epoxy resin
*Vista black liquid resin pigment (*bought direct from Vista)
Pinch bales and glue-on bales
Necklace cords
Earring hooks
*Beads on the earrings (*from Hobbycraft pick n mix beads section)
Sticky back black felt ( this was in my craft stash but I can't remember where I bought it)

Video filmed on a Fairphone 4 and edited in Movie Maker
Music in this video is by Doctor Turtle from the Movie Maker built-in music library
