LT1 Camaro Z28 -"best bang for the buck '90s car" (4.6 Mustang vs 5.7 Camaro)

"The Best Bang for your Buck" out there, the '90s "pound for pound champ" when you compare dollar per performance, you just can't beat the LT1 Camaro/Firebird. Just shy of 300hp, a 6-speed transmission, high 13 second 1/4 mile times, and in this current market in 2015 they can be had for $2,000 to $5,000 range (lower for a project car, higher for an under 100k mile beauty. That's loads of car for the money. Through the '90s I had owned quite a few 5.0 Mustangs and 5.0 & 5.7 TPI Camaro/Firebird models, and around the late '90s-early '00s I finally bought my first LT1 powered F-body..... and I was very pleased with the performance. The LT1 would rev much higher than any 3rd Gen or Foxbody that I'd previously driven (after stepping out of a Tuned Port Injection F-body which matched LT1 torque but simply ran out of breath after 4,500 RPM) and after a few bolt-on mods these LT1 models were absolute beasts, lol. This is just some old footage that I managed to capture back in the day of my LT1 Camaro Z28, what a fun !$%&?damn car this was, lol.... these LT1 monsters would just pull and pull and pull.... and pull..... it's like they never ran out of breath, especially once you open up the intake and exhaust so that they will run to their full potential. #nedaCFilms #4thGen #Fbody #Camaro
