This lecture is all about Apache Zookeeper where we have discussed what is Zookeeper, its significance in the distributed system, tasks performed in the Hadoop cluster along with Zookeeper architecture, types of znode in details and at last we have simulated a failing master node on our HDP Hortonworks Sandbox.

In the previous lecture we have seen Apache Tez which is data processing framework designed to handle Big Data on Hadoop by creating complex DAG instead of MapReduce approach. We have also seen why Tez is way more efficient than MapReduce and compared the query execution times between Tez and MapReduce.
