Throw pillows can be filled with a variety of materials, each offering different levels of support, comfort, and aesthetic appeal. What type of stuffing can affect what size your should make your throw pillow cover.

Traditional Approaches to Measuring Pillow Inserts might be:

Take the pillow size and add 1” for the seam allowance
Or take the pillow size and Subtract 1-2 inches for a tighter fitting cover.
