In this math video we will learn 5 steps to divide fractions. We will first understand that the quotient is the answer or solution when you divide. We will review the five steps one by one. Then, I will model how to use the procedural checklist and graphic organizer to complete each step. We will keep the first fraction, change division to multiplication and write the reciprocal (or "flip") the second fraction. We will then multiply the numerators, followed by multiplying the denominators. We will simplify the fraction if necessary. An exemplar solution is modeled and explained.
