Nasa’s Crawler Transporter is one of the largest land vehicle ever built

Introducing the largest internal-combustion aircraft ever built by humans.
The space shuttles were transported using a transporter that is only half the area of a football field and weighs the same as a full 1800 car. Crawler-transporter is the name of it.

At NASA's Kennedy Space Center, two twin crawler-transporters have been gently moving along a gravel path between the enormous Vehicle Assembly Building and the two launch pads at Launch Complex 39 for more than 40 years. Since then, every space shuttle has been transported by these enormous creatures on the final Earth-bound leg of their space missions. Originally, they carried all of the Apollo Saturn V rockets.

The crawlers are anticipated as crucial components of future launch operations at Kennedy once the shuttle fleet was decommissioned in 2011. With the help of Crawler-Transporter 2, the Artemis program will deliver the first woman and the second man to the Moon.
