A beginner Azrael guide that assumes you have a basic understanding of Blazblue system mechanics and fighting game terminology like number notations. Despite mainly being a guide for beginners I will be going over some advanced concepts that should help even mid level players or people who want to learn how to fight Azrael.

I go over it briefly in the video but to be more clear, Azrael 2B and 2C are "forced" cancel points in Azrael pressure and ODing it almost guarantees a punish. Moves like 2A, 5C and 5BB are "common" cancel points. ODing that can sometimes lead to a punish but Azrael can choose not to commit and be relatively safe.

Also when fighting Azrael be sure to save your bursts to threaten with a potential reversal OD but if you are going to burst then make sure to use it wisely. Bursting early on 5A no weakpoint combos isn't really worth however bursting a combo after Azrael has used a weakpoint sets him back to square one.
