#Loki’s queerness is canon and often explored in the comics. As far as Loki's sexuality goes, back in 2013, writer Al Ewing described the character as bisexual in a since-deleted Tumblr post. When it comes to Loki’s gender identity, however, things are more open to interpretation. Loki’s ability to shape-shift (sometimes transforming into the fan-favorite “#LadyLoki”) has often been linked to gender fluidity, but it’s not been made explicit. (Hence, why Disney+’s Loki’s use of “sex” rather than “gender” would make sense.) As the Los Angeles Times explains, in 2014’s Loki: Agent of Asgard, Loki’s father Odin also refers to the character as “my son, and my daughter, and my child who is both” – which many fans had taken as a generous hint of Loki’s fluid identity. #PJExplained
