We caught a lot of fish at Rice Lake

Sometimes fishing with flies simply outperforms bait. This was one of those epic days when a balanced leech was deadly, and for me personally, a pink hotspot black and blue leech was knockout for some stocked rainbow trout. This is Rice Lake in North Vancouver, BC, and it is stocked with fish multiple times a year. I had a great time fishing with some buddies from my fishing Discord, and I'd love it if you wanted to come check it out (link below). Rice Lake is also accessible from the free parking lot, including the trails and the fishing dock, and is a great place to spend some time in nature and fishing for trout.
