How can I repent to escape the curse of sickness and poverty? Deuteronomy 28:15-19 어떻게 회개해야 나도 질병과 가난의 저주에서 벗어날 수 있는가?신28 15~19
1. Introduction
For human beings, the problems of illness and poverty are undeniably profound issues that permeate life itself. For no one desires to fall ill, nor does anyone wish to become poor, yet in reality, people do become sick and live impoverished lives. Therefore, while illness and poverty are not things anyone desires in life, they suddenly appear beside us and come upon us one day. So how should we solve these problems of illness and poverty? Is it enough to simply seek out good doctors and hospitals to solve the problem of illness? And is working hard enough to solve the problem of poverty?
Of course, good doctors, hospitals, and hard work can solve the problems of illness and poverty to some extent. However, there are things that cannot be solved no matter how much human effort is mobilized. This is because the doctors and diligence of this world cannot fundamentally resolve these problems. Therefore, while it is natural that a person should seek a doctor's help when sick and work diligently to escape poverty, we must also have eyes to see the evil spirits operating behind these problems. For when we look behind sickness and poverty, we find the spirit of sickness at work and the spirit of poverty at work. So this time, we will specifically examine how sickness and poverty truly come about and what must be done to resolve them.
2. What spirits sequentially entered the human body?
The reason humans still live cursed lives today stems from the sin of the first man, Adam. After Adam and Eve sinned, the ground produced thorns and thistles, and humans had to work by the sweat of their brow to eat the fruit of the ground. This marks the beginning of the curse of poverty and sickness that fell upon humanity. However, Adam's sin was not a sin of his own free will. It was due to the schemes and deceit of Satan the devil, who sought to steal, kill, and destroy the souls of humans (John 10:10).
3. What is the spiritual secret contained within the prayer of repentance?
Yet God has given us humans a great gift. Just as Jesus created a prayer for His disciples, He has also created a prayer of repentance for us to use. Human misery began precisely with sin. Therefore, by repenting and receiving atonement through Jesus' blood, we can escape all the curses that have befallen us. That is why some individuals began creating and using a repentance prayer about 20 years ago.
Thus, the current ‘Repentance Prayer’ (published by the Repentance and Heavenly Gospel Research Institute, 2020) came into being. Upon examining this repentance prayer, it categorizes human sin into two major types according to the Ten Commandments: the sin of idolatry and the sins of daily life. Broadly speaking, violating the first four commandments constitutes the sin of idolatry, while violating the fifth through tenth commandments constitutes the sins of daily life.
Yet, this repentance prayer contained an astonishing spiritual secret. This is because when a person sins, serpents and demons enter their body; it reveals which spirits enter a person when they commit specific sins. In conclusion, it is this: When a person commits the sin of idolatry, fallen angels—demons—enter them; when a person commits sins of daily life, serpents enter them.
However, the repentance prayer distinguishes the sins of idolatry committed by people into four categories, and the sins committed in daily life into nineteen categories. First, the sins of idolatry total four: the sin of ancestral rites, the sin of Buddhism, the sin of shamans and fortune-tellers, and the sin of superstition and false gods. The sins of daily life total nineteen: pride, lust, falsehood, hot-temperedness and anger, depression, worry and anxiety, complaint and dissatisfaction, envy and jealousy, pleasure and entertainment, impatience, laziness, doubt, fear, stinginess, greed, gossip, hatred and cruelty, and addiction to alcohol, nicotine, and games.
Analyzing sins of daily life specifically, four are sins committed through speech, six through actions, and nine through the heart (character). First, sins committed through speech include lying, complaining and dissatisfaction, gossip, and idle talk. Second, sins committed through actions include lust, pleasure and entertainment, impatience, laziness, stinginess, and addiction. Finally, third, sins committed through the mind (character) include pride, hot-temperedness, depression, worry and anxiety, envy and jealousy, doubt, fear, greed, hatred, and ruthlessness.
4. What is the relationship between the spirits and snakes that enter people?
5. How can we classify the demons and snakes operating within our bodies?
