MA'AN Development Center is a Palestinian NGO located in Ramallah. This video documents one component of one project of ours in the Jordan Valley. Palestinian date farmers, until 1995, were not allowed to grow Majdul dates in the West Bank or Gaza. This style of date is the most popular and yields the highest profit. As such, the last 17 years have been a struggle to break into the market and this project is meant to aid farmers and take a burden off of them.
