On March 24th, World Tuberculosis (TB) Day, SAIHP and the Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar Ekamra Kshetra conducted a TB awareness program at Trinatha Slum, Bhubaneswar.

Dr. Dasarathi Das, Executive Director of SAIHP, educated residents on TB, its types, symptoms, and the importance of early detection. He also informed them about government programs like the National TB Elimination Program (NTEP) and free treatment under DOTS therapy. Additionally, he emphasized preventive measures such as hygiene, nutrition, and timely medical intervention.

The session aimed to dispel myths, reduce stigma, and encourage community participation in TB prevention and treatment.

Through such awareness drives, SAIHP continues its mission to promote public health and well-being, ensuring that even the most vulnerable communities have access to life-saving information and healthcare resources
