Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif formally inaugurated the Mobile Police Station and Licensing Unit Project, marking a significant step toward modernizing public policing services in the province.During the ceremony, the Chief Minister inspected Punjab’s first-ever Mobile Police Station, which will, for the first time, offer the facility to register FIRs (First Information Reports) on the spot.CM Maryam Nawaz also handed over the keys of the mobile units to the concerned officers and emphasized the importance of maintaining a compassionate and citizen-friendly attitude while serving the public.The initiative aims to bring police services directly to people’s doorsteps, ensuring greater accessibility, transparency, and trust between the police and the public.
