LEGOLAND Florida is launching its newest indoor attraction — the Galactic Coaster — and we were among the first to experience it before it opens to the public this Friday.

This next-generation ride blends LEGO creativity with coaster thrills, allowing guests to digitally build their own spaceship before seeing it come to life during the ride experience. It marks one of the resort’s largest investments and introduces new interactive technology, custom-designed vehicles built in Germany, and nearly 600,000 LEGO pieces throughout the themed land.

But the experience doesn’t stop at the ride. From galaxy-inspired limited-time food offerings to massive LEGO space models featuring decades of nostalgic sets, this launch is designed to immerse guests in every detail.

We spoke with the creators, designers, and culinary team behind the attraction to find out what makes this coaster different — and why they believe it represents the future of LEGOLAND.
