0:00 - Show/Hide Rulers
Via Menu:
View - Show Rulers
View - Hide Rulers

Via Keyboard Shortcuts:
Press Command/Control + R to toggle them on or off.


0:12 - Change Units
Right mouse click on a ruler to change the units for that axis. Right mouse click where the rulers meet to change the units for both axis simultaneously.


0:26 - Guides
Click and drag within a ruler to create a guide. Holding down Alt/Option while dragging out a guide will change the orientation between horizontal and vertical. A selected guide can be adjusted in the Properties panel.


0:44 - Zero Point
The X and Y position of objects are measured relative to the Zero Point. By default, the Zero Point is at the upper left corner of the first page of each spread. To redefine the Zero Point, click and drag from where the rulers meet to a new location on the page. To reset the Zero Point, double click where the rulers meet. To prevent changing the Zero Point, right mouse click where the rulers meet and choose Lock Zero Point.
