સૌરાષ્ટ્ર યુનિવર્સિટીના 53મા યુથ ફેસ્ટિવલ “સિંદૂરોત્સવ યુવક મહોત્સવ”નો પ્રારંભ થયો. ત્રિદિવસીય આ મહોત્સવમાં પાંચ જિલ્લાની કોલેજોના 1800થી વધુ વિદ્યાર્થીઓ ભાગ લઈ રહ્યા છે. ઉપલેટા તાલુકાની ડુમિયાણી ગામની બહેનો ટ્રેડિશનલ ડ્રેસમાં રાસ સ્પર્ધામાં જોડાયા, જેમણે સાત તોલા સુધીના ઘરેણા પહેરીને પરંપરાગત સૌંદર્ય ઝલકાવ્યું. તેમણે પ્રથમ સ્થાન મેળવવાની ઈચ્છા વ્યક્ત કરી હતી.
